Single-Pass Drilling, Adaptive Deployment, and Packer-Set Mechanical Lock
The SBC foundation architecture delivers the complete caisson foundation in a single integrated drilling-and-installation pass. The drilling rig drills, the caisson rings follow the bore, the cutter head sets at the base, the packers expand into rock, and the foundation is mechanically locked — before any grout is placed. Grout is optional, added only where geology or design loads require it. This memo describes the mechanics of each operation and the three load-transfer mechanisms that make the architecture work.
