The United States freight network is the largest in the world by tonne-kilometre, runs predominantly on diesel-electric rail, and crosses terrain ranging from the Rocky Mountains to the Mississippi floodplain. The MMC platform is being considered for the trans-American continental network — the Pacific–Atlantic east-west crossing, the north–south Texas-to-Manitoba corridor, and the Mississippi flood-resilient spine. Engagement is at concept stage.
The full US programme summary — corridor candidates, the comparison with Class I diesel rail unit economics, the Buy America manufacturing arrangement, and engagement status — will be added here as the work matures. For now, this page acknowledges that the United States is on the MMC engagement list and identifies what the deployment would look like.
The MMC platform is available for deployment in any nation with the geographic, demographic, and political conditions to support continental-scale infrastructure. If your government, agency, or capital partner could initiate a project in the United States, make contact.
